the new season is so open

It took only two weeks without any access to the 'net and my post office - and new releases are piling up and it's really hard to choose... but at least I'll try. Pop music first, as usual.

The Pica Beats are from Seattle and are so ok. New album from The Dears rocks as well. The Coral Sea come from California and play nice songs. Australian The Drones have such a nice name. Maria Taylor has got a new EP. And in case one is curious what's going on in Stockholm, Hello Saferide are always welcome.
And this list will be updated for the next couple of days.

Stanley Brinks is the new identity of one André Herman Düne, and he just introduced himself on the new album, which brings some seriously smart songwriting. Swedish connection apparently, once again.

Sweden - I dunno what's in the water there, but here we have another multi-talented chap from this country, Jesper Norda. Check.

And, from the other side of the globe, Natty is the new signing to Jack Johnson's Brushfire label. Goes well with my new boarding trunks, when the sun is high.
